About us
Welcome to BioMed iLab at School of Medicine, SYSU! We focus on intelligent drug delivery and protein & cell engineering technology, which are dedicated to treat cancers, type 1 diabetes, as well as autoimmune diseases with immunotherapy. Specifically, natural cells or bacteria, due to their characteristics such as favorable biocompatibility and scalable modification, could be utilized as the vehicles or platforms for vehicle production to deliver small molecules, as well as macromolecules such as antibodies, proteins. These biomaterials are endowed with the ability to target specific cells, modulate immune functions, and ultimately achieve the goal of treating diseases.
